“Goodbye” is a word filled with both tenderness and distance. Through three booklets, I explore how people at different stages of life experience parting. Each piece reflects how goodbye can also mean growth, acceptance, and quiet transformation.

Life drifts in cycles of parting and return, like breath, like tide. The circular form of this book is inspired by the shape of a clock, a quiet symbol of time’s endless motion.
In this specific booklet, I chose to convey emotion solely through images. I used photographs that capture moments of farewell across different stages of life. Each image holds a trace of memory, whispering that every goodbye carries the soft promise of reunion.
For the visual, I chose blue and a hazy, blurred filter to evoke the way of sorrow as memories. While by convey a more positive feeling, I employed laser-cut plywood and finished the booklet with a golden metallic spray print for the cover design.
